Beit Yerach's Learning Center

We have had our English Room since October, 2005.

We are fortunate to have 5 working computers,   a printer, a TV and DVD. We have a listening corner as well as place for students working on reading texts ,language, writing and games.

This year we have put up a timetable so each teacher can see who is assigned to that room during specific class schedules. The teachers sign up in advance when they want the room in order to avoid any one teacher from monopolizing the room.

Students may work on their own, moving from corner to corner among the various domains.

·        We like the room as it offers a positive change and vitality to  regular class activities.

·         Our students seem to like learning there.

·        Furthermore, it allows the teacher to have a more personal approach and working dialog with each student.

·        We look for material that is attractive, varied and affords students to do remedial as well as more advanced assignments.

We feel that we all need more time and experience to get more efficient use of the workshop, but we are very pleased in the meantime to have it.
