Officially Approved Textbooks for 2011-2012

Official directives

Regarding dictionaries: Since this is a year of transition, students can use any dictionaries that fit the criteria on the Ministry Site. The Department for Book Approval at the Ministry of Education are working on the final guidelines, which will be in effect for the next school year (2012-2013).

Below are links to the lists of books that have been officially approved by the Board of Education for the 2010-2011 school year.  Since this list is currently under revision, last year's list is still the one to use. The list includes the catalogue number, title of the book, the names of the authors, publishers and prices.

There MAY be some books that have been approved since this came out. If you have any questions, speak with the publishers or write us. The importance of this list is to be sure that you are not using OLD textbooks that are no longer supposed to be in use. If your schools are using unapproved books, this should be brought to the attention of your principal. These book lists are LAW. If you have any questions about this, please discuss them with your counselor or Avi.
